She also hosts the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her growing up in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she joined Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also on TV in three seasons of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She was also a part of three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" featuring Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she appeared alongside Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay and Aleha Dixon. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. She was a judge on the show in 2006.
