Leona LaurenLeona Louise Lewis (born on April 3, 1985) is a British singer, songwriter as well as an actress and activist. "Bleeding Love" is the single that was released as the album's lead track of Spirit, remained number one in the UK for seven weeks. It was also the highest-selling single in the UK. Also, it was the biggest-sold single in the US during the same time. Lewis won the Billboard Best New Artist Award subsequent year. In 2009, she released her sophomore studio album, Echo, and recorded the theme song, "I See You" in the movie Avatar. Lewis also released "Collide," a joint collaboration along with Swedish DJ Avicii. In 2011 , she also released Hurt which was the extended version on her EP debut. Glassheart (2012) is her 3rd studio album. Lewis drew inspiration from electronic and dubstep music. Her Glassheart Tour was in the beginning of 2013, as she began recording music to record her first Christmas album. Later that year, Christmas with Love was released, and included her lead single "One more night" was ranked third in the UK. With this chart entry, Lewis was the very first British female artist in the top 5 with eight singles, surpassing Olivia Newton-John's record of seven.
