Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly well-known American actress and singer. Bell is a Michigan native, born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is of Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen realized her potential in the world of entertainment when she was just a teenager. Her audition was in 1992 and was offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mom signed her up with an agency before turning 13 years old. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper ads. Now, Bell also begins classes in acting for herself. Bell played an uncredited part of Polish Wedding (1998), a film released in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the starring Dorothy character. After graduation Bell relocated into New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied musical theater. The year 2001 was the time Bell quit her university in order to play the role in the role of Becky on Tom Sawyer. That was the same year that she also was the first to be credited with Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and she was only seen in the credit sequence. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in the Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
